IIIT-B announces a new two-year full-time Masters of Science (Digital Society) programme. This is an interdisciplinary programme intended for candidates with any 1st class under-graduate degree who are interested in designing, developing, deploying and managing large ICT solutions for an inclusive and sustainable digital society. Positioned at the intersection of the humanities, the social sciences and information technology, this unique and innovative programme brings together insights from computer science, data science, information sciences, economics, management, sociology, political science and policy research. The key objectives of the programme are to:
· Create a group of professionals having a nuanced and multi-dimensional understanding of today’s information age
· Address the growing needs for capacities in government/corporate/non-profit sectors that require competencies in both technological and social issues
· Promote innovation and entrepreneurial skills among students
