This course will help participants to engage with Impact Evaluation processes in a meaningful way and to create a culture of being conscious of 'impact' when designing or implementing programmes.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:
- Articulate specific expectations from Impact Evaluation
- Recognise key terminologies used in Impact Evaluation
- Critique methodologies used for Impact Evaluation
- Create a terms of reference document for third party evaluation of a programme
- Create a process for dissemination of findings of Impact Evaluation
II. Risk and Opportunity Management for Development Leaders
This course will provide students with insights on how to manage risks and opportunities, introduce them to useful frameworks for application and also cover last mile implementation – of making everyone in the organisation a professional who is able to foresee and proactively manage risks and opportunity.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, students will be able to
- Understand Risk and Opportunity Management as a separate discipline.
- Learn to identify, classify and manage Risks and Opportunities
- Find a way to create, implement and manage an organisational Risk Management Framework
- Learn how to create a sustainable model, so that everyone in the organisation is able to embrace and benefit from an active Risk Management perspective
