Issues and opportunities based learning workshop
In the year 2015, the statistics shows that the Ministry of Home Affairs cancelled licenses of 8,975 non-profit organizations for lack of non-compliance with various provisions and regulations under FCRA. In addition, MHA has made several amendments in the FCRA regulations 2010. There were number of NGO/VOs which are facing FCRA related issues and are unaware about new amendments and its regulation too.
In July 2017, around 5922 FCRA registered organization received show cause notice regarding cancellation.
We have also observed that many FCRA registered organizations are not able to channelize foreign fund due to scarcity of competent staff within the organization and lack of technological awareness.
This workshop is designed to sensitize the registered and active organization on various provisions pertaining to the compliance of the FCRA-2010 Act and Its related amendments and notifications.
This workshop can be positively helpful to all the organizations who are going to register under FCRA and have potential to access foreign funding. We will also discuss possible partnership opportunities with International aid agency and foreign donors.
