#Commanding Officer or CEO, Electronic Warfare Unit, Jammu (Jan’05- Aug’07)- Commanded a team of ~400 persons to operate Electronic Warfare (EW) systems for Conventional and Counter-insurgency operations in Jammu region. The unit was recognized for facilitating detection and elimination of 43 terrorists during the command; Unit was awarded Army Chief’s Citation for excellent performance. Raised a specialized, 125-person EW organization for supporting counter terrorist operations. Conducted Design Review and Factory Acceptance in Israel for Indian Army’s first EW equipment on helicopter.
