Professional Experience:
In the last 34+ years, I have worked in the health sector across several countries, mainly in Bangladesh, India,
Liberia, Nepal, The Philippines, and South Africa. I have also provided consultancy in more than 11 other
countries. I have developed cross-functional competencies in community health, partnership management,
key populations, social marketing, developing strategies, generating evidence for program and policy
development, detailed implementation plans, cost-effectiveness, fraud prevention, budgeting,
administration, procurement, capacity building, and human resource management for the health sector.
I have worked with donors like ADB, the European Commission, The Global Fund, USAID, UNICEF, private
philanthropies, and the World Bank. I have experience working closely with government institutions, the
Ministry of Health, civil society groups, the private sector, technology-based intervention, and other
stakeholders navigating complex issues like interventions with the most marginalized, influencing policy
development, and assisting in generating and using data for planning to revamp the programs if required.
I am eager to learn about new areas keeping pace with changing environments and technology. Experts in the
field appreciate my ability to work deftly in complex environments, providing innovative and scalable
solutions. I am self-driven, collaborating, and bringing out the best from other team members.
