Education:
I have completed my doctor of philosophy, in Environmental Sciences from BBA University in joint collaboration with “Center for Environmental Sciences and Engineering”, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
During my post graduation and doctoral tenure, I got expertise in field as well as laboratory work. I proved myself as a sincere and hard working person by conducting and managing experimental and interdisciplinary research. My doctoral work includes travel across endemic areas, field analysis/survey, sample collections from contaminated sources, communication with the locals, maintain the work culture between the institute and NGOs, data analysis in well equipped laboratory and documentation by publishing international research papers/reports, oral/poster presentations, writing book chapters and deliver the invited talks. However, currently I am working on the water quality as well as removal of heavy metals from water and wastewaters. Due to my strong interest, I would like to continue my future work in treatment of drinking water, wastewater & sanitation in order to promote appropriate and low cost remedial solutions. I feel the importance to bridge the knowledge gap between the community and service providers through education and training to assist the stakeholders in planning, implementation, operation and management of water, sanitation and environmental programmes on a sustainable basis.
As a research scholar, I have always strived to achieve excellence. This is reflected in the resume sent along with the application. My curiosity to learn and absorb ideas has always propelled me forward. Through my analytical and research skills developed at graduate and PhD level, I believe I would be able to do justice to organization’s aspirations. Thus, I submit this written statement with an earnest request to consider my candidature favorably.
Hoping for a favorable response.
