Professional Experience:

I have over 17 years of professional experience spanning public policy, governance systems, development research, and data analytics. My work has largely focused on strengthening public programs through evidence-based evaluation, performance monitoring, and capacity building across government and development sectors.

I served as Director at the Society for Social Audit, Accountability and Transparency (APSSAAT), Department of Rural Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh, where I led a 500+ member institution responsible for auditing and evaluating large-scale public programs, including MGNREGA, PMAY-G, and NRLM. In this role, I oversaw audits of programs exceeding ?20,000 crore, designed performance monitoring frameworks, improved fund utilization, and ensured accountability in program implementation. I also led large-scale training and capacity-building initiatives for government officials, field functionaries, and stakeholders.

My earlier experience includes working with premier institutions such as the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), and Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS). In these roles, I contributed to research and evaluation studies on rural development, livelihoods, sanitation, water access, and social protection programs. I was involved in designing research methodologies, conducting large-scale surveys, performing statistical analysis using tools such as SAS and SPSS, and preparing policy reports and recommendations.

I have also worked on consultancy and advisory assignments, supporting program evaluation, impact assessment, and data-driven decision-making for government and institutional stakeholders. My work includes assessing entrepreneurship programs, rural livelihoods initiatives, and development interventions across multiple states.

In addition, I have experience in international capacity-building programs, having coordinated and delivered training for participants from over 20 countries under Government of India initiatives. These engagements have strengthened my ability to work in diverse, multi-cultural environments and contribute to global knowledge exchange in governance and development.

Overall, my professional experience reflects a strong integration of research, analytics, and implementation, with a focus on improving the effectiveness, transparency, and impact of public systems and development programs.

Education:

I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management with a specialization in Consumer Behaviour, where my research focused on understanding decision-making patterns, particularly in rural and emerging market contexts. My doctoral work combined behavioural insights with analytical approaches, strengthening my ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful policy and management insights.

I completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Marketing, which provided a strong foundation in core management principles, quantitative analysis, and strategic decision-making. During my postgraduate studies, I developed an interest in applying analytical tools to real-world business and development challenges, which later shaped my research and professional trajectory.

My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), where I gained fundamental knowledge in accounting, economics, and business systems. This early academic exposure helped build a strong base in financial and analytical thinking.

In addition to my formal education, I have strengthened my analytical capabilities through professional certifications, including SAS programming and Six Sigma. These have enhanced my ability to work with large datasets, apply statistical methods, and contribute to data-driven decision-making in both academic and policy contexts.

My academic journey reflects a consistent integration of theory, research, and practical application. It has enabled me to engage effectively in teaching, research, and large-scale program evaluation, particularly in the areas of public policy, governance systems, and development programs.
