My internship at the State Health Society Bihar provided a profound educational experience in the field of public health. Working within this dynamic and challenging environment, I gained valuable insights into healthcare administration and program management.

I was immediately impressed by the organization's commitment to improving healthcare in Bihar. Throughout my internship, I played a crucial role in public health program management. This involved data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting, allowing me to assess the impact of various health programs, ranging from maternal and child health to disease control and sanitation.

Field visits were particularly enlightening, as they allowed me to interact with healthcare providers, observe the challenges they faced, and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration with government officials, healthcare workers, and community leaders underscored the importance of building strong partnerships to address public health issues effectively.

Additionally, I contributed to research and data management, working on projects aimed at addressing specific health challenges in Bihar. Attending meetings and workshops on healthcare policy and strategy at the state level provided a deeper understanding of healthcare governance.

Professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, enhanced my skills and knowledge. Overall, this internship was transformative, reinforcing my commitment to improving healthcare delivery and public health outcomes.

My educational journey has been a profound and enriching experience, culminating in the successful completion of my Master's degree from Christian Medical College, Vellore. This milestone represents not only the acquisition of academic knowledge but also the development of critical thinking, a deep sense of purpose, and a passion for contributing to the field of healthcare and public health.

This renowned institution is not only esteemed for its academic excellence but also for its commitment to healthcare, research, and community service. The opportunity to study at CMC Vellore was a dream come true, and it provided me with a unique and invaluable educational experience.

During my time at CMC Vellore, I was exposed to a rigorous and multidisciplinary curriculum that covered various aspects of public health. I studied subjects like Public Health Policy, environmental health, Statistics, Qualitative research, Quantitative research etc. These courses equipped me with the knowledge and analytical skills needed to understand and address complex public health issues.

I had the privilege of participating in fieldwork and research projects that allowed me to apply theoretical concepts like a stigma in Diabetes mellitus, and qualitative research on depression on I had learned in real-world settings. Whether it was conducting community health surveys, analyzing health data, or working with local healthcare organizations, Like Herbertpur Christian Hospital, and Prem Jyoti Hospital Jharkhand these experiences were instrumental in honing my skills and deepening my understanding of public health challenges.

My Master's program also provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with experienced faculty members who were actively engaged in cutting-edge research. This exposure to ongoing research projects not only broadened my horizons but also inspired me to pursue my own research interests within the realm of public health. I had the privilege of working on projects related to infectious diseases, health behaviour change, and healthcare access, contributing to the generation of knowledge that can inform health policies and interventions.


Looking ahead, I am excited to apply the insights and expertise I have acquired during my educational journey to address pressing public health challenges. My goal is to work towards creating a healthier and more equitable world, where everyone has access to the resources and information they need to lead healthy lives.
