Education:
I hold a Master’s Degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Social-Cultural Anthropology from the University of Calcutta, completed in 2004 with First Class distinction. My postgraduate studies provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human societies, cultural systems, social structures, community dynamics, and behavioural patterns. This academic background has significantly contributed to my professional approach toward community engagement, participatory development, and designing context-driven interventions for diverse social groups.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology (Honours) from the University of Calcutta in 2002, where I developed a comprehensive understanding of anthropological theories, ethnographic methods, social institutions, and cultural diversity. The rigorous academic training enhanced my analytical abilities, research orientation, and appreciation of socio-economic realities at the grassroots level.
My education in Anthropology has been instrumental in shaping my career as a development professional, enabling me to combine social science perspectives with practical strategies for rural development, livelihood enhancement, and inclusive growth. It has strengthened my ability to engage effectively with communities, stakeholders, and institutions while promoting sustainable and people-centred development solutions.
