Professional Experience:

As a healthcare researcher and data analyst, I have contributed to multiple high-impact projects in public health optimization, immunization programs, AI-driven healthcare analysis, and peri-urban healthcare transitions. As part of my fellowship research, I authored a scoping review manuscript, "Towards Comprehensive Healthcare Governance: Assessing Peri-urban Dynamics and Healthcare System Gaps," analyzing systemic challenges and policy recommendations in transitioning urban healthcare landscapes. I led a qualitative research initiative to evaluate departmental operations, providing actionable strategies to enhance efficiency and collaboration. In the 100 Days TB Campaign, I analyzed daily TB data from 347 districts across 33 states, identifying trends and generating state-wise performance reports for effective campaign tracking. In the Chardham Yatra Project, I facilitated pilgrim and stakeholder engagement, translating comprehensive FAQs into Hindi to improve accessibility for Chardham Yatra 2024 participants and developing evaluation tools for Medical Officers and Community Health Officers (CHOs) to assess healthcare service delivery. In the Gavi Bihar Immunization Project, I provided statistical support to estimate Left-Out, Drop-Out, and Resistant (LODOR) children across 10 districts, conceptualized a baseline monitoring framework aligned with UNICEF guidelines, mapped Civil Society Organization (CSO) Management Information Systems (MIS) to operational workflows, and developed a Gantt chart to monitor timelines and resource allocation. I also managed the UNICEF Partner Portal, ensuring streamlined communication and coordination. Additionally, I conducted an in-depth AI landscape analysis across the Global South, evaluating technological trends, policy frameworks, and socio-economic factors to identify opportunities for AI-driven healthcare advancements and delivered strategic insights for international collaborations. My expertise includes data analysis, M&E frameworks, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and statistical tools such as SPSS, STATA, Tableau, and Microsoft Office, enabling me to leverage data-driven insights and innovative methodologies to optimize healthcare systems, improve accessibility, and drive impactful public health interventions. Not only as a fellow, i have also contributed towards market research during my extracurricular summer internship and exhibited commitment towards MNCH during my internship during post-graduation.

Education:

I am a dedicated and aspiring public health enthusiast with a strong educational foundation that seamlessly merges clinical expertise with a passion for public health. My academic journey commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery, providing me with a solid understanding of clinical intricacies and patient care. This foundational knowledge has been instrumental in shaping my holistic approach to healthcare.

My pursuit of advanced education led me to the esteemed Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), where I am currently immersed in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a specialization in social epidemiology. This academic choice reflects my commitment to understanding health disparities through a socio-cultural lens, recognizing the profound impact of social determinants on public health outcomes.

The MPH program at TISS is a dynamic environment that extends beyond traditional epidemiology. The curriculum is designed to equip students with not only the technical skills required for rigorous epidemiological research but also the critical thinking abilities essential for navigating the complex interplay between social factors and health outcomes.

Active involvement in research has been a pivotal aspect of my academic journey. Notably, I have contributed to ongoing research on the victims of forced sexual acts in India as part of the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5). This experience has not only enhanced my research acumen but has also deepened my ethical understanding of conducting research in sensitive areas, emphasizing the importance of cultural sensitivity in public health work.

Practical experience gained through internships at Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child, and Aahwahan Foundation has provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of public health. From conducting health education initiatives to contributing to the development and implementation of health programs, these experiences have enriched my skill set and allowed me to witness the real-world impact of public health interventions.

A summer internship at Pharmarack further broadened my perspective by exposing me to healthcare supply chains and hands-on experience in addressing challenges associated with patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Tableau, I bring a data-driven approach to public health decision-making.

Beyond academics and internships, I am actively engaged in the academic community as a member of the Senior Alumni Committee for the School of Health System Studies at TISS. This role allows me to contribute to the ongoing development of the academic environment and foster collaboration among peers.

In summary, my educational journey is characterized by a seamless integration of clinical expertise, research acumen, and a commitment to addressing public health challenges. With a solid foundation in dental surgery and advanced training in social epidemiology, I am poised to make a meaningful impact in the dynamic field of public health. As I continue to progress in my academic journey, I am eager to leverage my diverse skill set and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of public health initiatives.
