Professional Experience:
In my current role as a Demonstrator at the Department of Microbiology in Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, I am deeply involved in various facets of microbiological diagnostics, education, and research. Since August 2022, I have been supervising, conducting, and reporting on a range of microbiological procedures crucial for diagnosing infectious diseases. This includes overseeing the execution, reporting, and verification of RTPCR results for COVID-19 diagnosis. Alongside, I provide instruction in Microbiology courses to undergraduate students pursuing various degrees, contributing to their academic and professional growth.
Previously, as a Consultant Microbiologist at Dr. Mukta's Clinic, I provided expert consultations on infectious diseases, collaborating with physicians to analyze patient data and offer microbial perspectives on diagnosis and treatment. I also played a vital role in data analysis, clinical assessment, and treatment recommendations, contributing significantly to infectious disease management. Additionally, I supported research endeavors, staying abreast of advancements in microbiology to inform clinical practice.
As a Senior Resident at Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, I oversaw diverse microbiological procedures, including COVID-19 testing, while providing guidance to undergraduate students in Microbiology courses. Similarly, as a Clinical Microbiologist at All About Lab, I ensured adherence to quality management systems, developed testing protocols, and communicated with regulatory bodies to maintain high laboratory standards.
During my tenure as a Junior Resident at Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, I played a pivotal role in COVID-19 testing and provided supervision in Microbiology courses to undergraduate students. My responsibilities also encompassed engaging in research projects in medical microbiology.
Prior to this, as a House Surgeon at Government Multi Speciality Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh, I provided comprehensive care to patients in the medicine emergency and wards, conducting investigations, making diagnoses, and administering treatments.
