Professional Experience:
I am a social work professional and certified trainer with over seven years of experience in youth development, vocational training, and employability skill development. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and an academic background in Information Technology, I have developed strong skills in training facilitation, youth counselling, and program coordination. My professional journey has been focused on empowering young individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds by enhancing their communication, life skills, and career readiness.
Most recently, I worked with Vipla Foundation as a Trainer for BPO, Retail, and BFSI sectors and also served as Centre In-Charge from May 2025 to February 2026. In this role, I planned and delivered employability, life skills, and vocational training sessions using interactive and activity-based methodologies. I guided students in career planning, interview preparation, and workplace readiness to help them become confident job seekers. Along with my training responsibilities, I also managed the day-to-day operations of the training centre, including scheduling, coordination, student discipline, infrastructure management, and documentation. I handled student enquiries, counselling, admissions, and record maintenance while ensuring that training quality standards were maintained through regular assessments and performance monitoring.
Before this, I worked with DBM India as a Vocational Course Trainer from August 2022 to February 2025. In this role, I planned and conducted vocational and soft skills training sessions tailored to the learning needs of students. I prepared lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools to support effective learning. I also conducted individual and group sessions to improve communication, confidence, and workplace behaviour. Additionally, I supported student counselling, mobilization, admissions, placement coordination, and program reporting.
Earlier in my career, I worked with Shield Foundation under a project supported by Tech Mahindra Foundation as an English and Soft Skills Trainer from August 2018 to January 2021. In this role, I focused on strengthening students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW) skills through learner-centric teaching methods. I also provided mentoring and counselling to students to support their personal and professional growth. Along with training, I assisted in administrative tasks, student mobilization activities, and placement support.
