18+ years of professional experience across Government & Institutional Banking, Rural Banking, Financial Inclusion, Digital Payments, Stakeholder Management and Regional Leadership, with substantial transferable experience relevant to development-sector programme implementation, Government partnerships, community institutions and digital inclusion across Northeast India.
Most recently served as **Cluster Head – TASC at YES BANK**, leading Government and institutional business across 16 branches covering the seven Northeastern states. Worked closely with Government and institutional stakeholders to understand operational requirements, strengthen relationships and identify practical banking, payment, collection and digital financial solutions. Coordinated with Branch Managers, regional teams and technology stakeholders to support implementation and improve service delivery.
Previously served as **State Head – Retail, Northeast at Pine Labs**, managing a team across the seven Northeastern states and supporting the adoption of digital payment and technology solutions among merchants and institutions. Managed portfolio growth, service delivery, stakeholder engagement, MIS and regional performance.
As **Area Head – Government & Institutional Banking at HDFC Bank, Meghalaya**, managed a Government and institutional portfolio of approximately ?1,400 crore. Worked with Government departments and officials to understand implementation challenges and coordinated with developers, digital-solution teams and technology partners to introduce practical digital banking, payment, collection and electronic fund-management solutions. Also supported the **digitalisation of rural, social, religious and educational organisations**, helping institutions adopt digital payment and collection mechanisms.
As **Branch Manager at North East Small Finance Bank**, developed significant experience in **rural banking and financial inclusion**, working with rural communities and **Self-Help Groups** to facilitate access to formal banking and inclusive financial services.
