Professional Experience:

I am a Public Health professional with over two decades of experience in the social sector. I hold a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Leeds, UK. My professional journey spans working with national and international not-for-profit organizations, with a primary focus on RMNCH+A interventions. Over the past fifteen years, I have held senior managerial roles, leading programs and strengthening public health systems and community development initiatives across multiple states in India, including Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
Throughout my career, I have successfully managed large and diverse teams and collaborated closely with international donors, CSR organizations, and key government stakeholders, particularly the National Health Mission and the Department of Women & Child Development. Together, we have implemented high-impact programs addressing maternal and child nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, family planning, early childhood education, and other community-based interventions. Notably, five innovations developed under my leadership were recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, as “Good and Replicable Practices” and were published in their national compendium.
I bring extensive experience in independently managing key program functions with minimal supervision. This includes: engaging with government stakeholders to formalize partnerships through Letters of Association and MoUs; leading program management and execution of RMNCH+A interventions at both facility and community levels; mobilizing resources through CSR and NHM by developing proposals, budgets, and integrating them into Program Implementation Plans; and strengthening community-based programs through effective Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) strategies in partnership with local NGOs.
Currently, leading the Integrated Program in Odisha and providing strategic support to improve nutrition, health, and maternal and early childhood development outcomes for children under six years of age, as well as for pregnant and lactating women. The program focuses on strengthening service delivery, systems, and sustainability through social and behaviour change communication (SBCC), and building frontline worker capacity for maternal and child health and nutrition services. A key objective of this role is to support the Department of Women & Child Development and NHM in evidence based policy decision making.
In addition, I have strong expertise in team leadership and capacity building, managing multiple donor-funded projects, ensuring high-quality implementation, and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations. I have represented organizations at various government and stakeholder forums, reviewed program deliverables to ensure quality and compliance, and managed grants with a focus on donor and state-specific requirements. I am also experienced in financial management, ensuring efficient utilization of allocated funds.
I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your organization. I look forward to the opportunity to leverage my experience and leadership skills to further strengthen your projects and contribute to the growth of your esteemed organization.
