Professional Experience:
Agriculture & Livelihoods Professional with 2+ years of experience in the development sector, currently working with SwitchON Foundation to advance sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and rural livelihoods. I have experience in designing and implementing field-based agricultural interventions, capacity-building programmes, knowledge resources, and extension services for smallholder farmers and rural communities.
My work focuses on translating agricultural knowledge into practical, field-ready solutions. I design and deliver structured training programmes on Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA), sustainable farming practices, and soil health management. I also develop training modules, Packages of Practices (PoPs), IEC materials, and other learning resources to strengthen the knowledge and adoption of improved agricultural practices among farmers, Community Resource Persons (CRPs), teachers, and local institutions.
My experience includes coordinating the establishment and operational management of Bio Resource Centers (BRCs), supporting soil health management and field-level soil testing interventions, and providing agricultural advisory support. I have also contributed to planning, implementing, and monitoring on-field demonstrations, validation trials, and pilot interventions aimed at promoting sustainable and climate-resilient farming solutions.
Additionally, I have supported organic certification for smallholder farmer groups and coordinated initiatives related to contract farming and value-chain development to improve market access and income opportunities. My work also extends to livelihood enhancement through rural entrepreneurship and agriculture-allied interventions focused on diversifying household income sources.
I have experience collaborating with government departments, NGOs, FPOs, community institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective programme implementation and strengthen local agricultural ecosystems.
