Sustainability leader with 25 years spanning Big Four advisory to Indian and global industry (Deloitte, EY), a global multinational (Rio Tinto, 36 countries) and headed ESG & Compliance at Bharti Airtel. Shaped policy and enabled end-to-end sustainability transformation across value chains, into governed data, systems and internal capability leading to sustainable business impact. Setting up own sustainability consulting venture through collaboration with likeminded entities for creating impact at scale.
* Policy & Regulatory Alignment – Track and interpret evolving national and global ESG frameworks (BRSR Core, SBTi, CDP, CSRD/ESRS, EPR and the Labour Codes) and translate them into practical pathways for business.
* Knowledge Frameworks & Thought Leadership – Conduct applied research to develop frameworks for creating value, e.g. enterprise sustainability maturity framework; developed a collaborative product stewardship white paper, and a climate policy tracker for Indian states.
* Industry & Stakeholder Engagement – Represent industry in sector working groups and forums, and convene cross company exchange on climate, supply chain and responsible business.
* Enterprise Practice & Capability Building – First-hand experience of making ESG work inside large organisations: disclosure under assurance, supplier engagement, compliance systems and building a culture 8,000 volunteers strong.
