Professional Experience:
Meticulous and dynamic researcher with 8 years of experience in the area of evidence synthesis focusing on child protection, education, gender, disability and methods for evidence synthesis. She is trained in systematic review methodology, information sciences, network analysis (bibliometric), elementary and advanced epidemiology/ biostatistics including infectious disease and chronic disease epidemiology.
She has facilitated various systematic review workshops for researchers in Bangladesh, China, Croatia, India, Kenya, Lebanon, London, Mexico, Nepal, the Philippines, and Uganda. She has managed several internationally funded projects such as DFID, UNICEF, CHI, ICORSI, PENDA, MasterCard foundation and youth endowment fund.
She previously headed an organization working on Evidence synthesis overseeing and managing South Asian research network for the production and use of systematic reviews.
She is the Editor of the Campbell International Development Coordinating Group (IDCG), associate editor at Health Research Policy and Systems and Co-Convener of Campbell and Cochrane Equity Methods Group.
Previous experience includes leading a large project on health information system on HIV/AIDS and TB projects in India, Kenya and Myanmar 2015-16 and leading research team at National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization at Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India 2014-15.
