Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Educational Qualifications and Experience:
• M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with RCI certification.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Aaladamara is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health treatment Through our ECRCs (Emergency Care and Rehabilitation Centers), Outreach and Acute Care Services

• Emergency Care: Immediate medical and psychological support for individuals in crisis.
• Inpatient Treatment: Safe shelter and intensive care for those requiring prolonged medical and psychological assistance.
• Outpatient Services: Continued support and follow-up care to ensure sustained recovery and reintegration.

Reintegration and Aftercare:
• Rehabilitation: Structured programs to help individuals regain stability and self-sufficiency.
• Family Reunification: Efforts to reconnect individuals with their families as requested, and when possible.
• Community Integration: Support in finding housing, employment, and social connections to foster long-term stability and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating Department Activities:
• Set goals and work plans for the Department of Psychology in collaboration with the Central Office in Chennai.
• Conduct department meetings, track progress, and send weekly updates.
• Incorporate developments into quarterly and annual reports.

2. Psychometric Assessments:
• Perform assessments and mental status examinations (MSE) for newly admitted, readmitted, and reintegrated clients.
• Conduct tests and one-on-one sessions to assess specific problems, providing feedback to doctors.
• Handle assessments for in-house and outside referrals as needed, ensuring all referrals are completed within two weeks.

3. Therapeutic Interventions:
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, spiritual group therapy, and individual therapy based on clients’ needs.
• Coordinate grand rounds, chart meetings, therapeutic community case presentations, and individual care plans.

4. Training:
• Train professionals on a monthly basis, in line with the structure and process document, and in consultation with BALM.
• Design, monitor, and deliver high-quality courses in family therapy.
• Supervise interns and train Diploma and Masters students.
• Build capacity for ECRC and Home Again replication partners.

5. Orientation & Internships:
• Orient college students, researchers, and others visiting the organization.

6. Community Crisis Intervention Services:
• Provide inpatient mental health services and outpatient support.
• Conduct family conferences and home visits as part of the aftercare program.
• Manage cases and facilitate critical time interventions.

7. Case Management and Documentation:
• Conduct individual sessions, psychosocial interventions, and case presentations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team review sessions and facilitate referrals.

8. Documentation:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for donors and partners.
• Perform weekly checks of all registers.

9. Audits and Surprise Rounds:
• Monitor food services and conduct client cupboard checks.
• Perform weekly audits and surprise rounds at ECRCs and Homes Again.
• Conduct monthly visits and audits at Home Again in Mysore and quarterly audits at other ECRCs across India.

10. Research:
• Engage in research work on ECRC and Home Again under the guidance of the Program Lead and Clinical Supervisor.
