The niche for us in India is our concentration on child malnutrition in India, employing both nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions. We operate in four states—Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Gujarat—encompassing 1,266 rural and tribal villages and 160 urban slum Anganwadi centers.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Director-HR, this position will supervise, guide & monitor the admin & procurement function for the entire organization. He/she will be leading a team of 5-6 log-admin officers who are based at remote location across the intervention areas.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Admin:
• Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
• Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
• Ensures a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility that meets environmental, health, and security standards
• Manages the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems
• Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
• Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
• Managing logistics across the organization i.e. travel desk, hotel booking etc.
• Managing IT systems i.e. network, connectivity (WIFI), repair & maintenance of IT equipment etc.
Procurement:
• Preparing annual procurement plans
• Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
• Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Preparing procurement reports

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• Bachelor's degree in any field (Commerce or Finance preferred)
• Diploma or degree in Procurement Management (desirable
• 5-7 years of experience in Administration and Procurement
• Proven experience in managing remote teams (added advantage)
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies.
• Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Talent in negotiations and networking.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
