Job Description- Manager/Deputy Manager –ECD Partnership(Delhi)
Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, reaching child care and health services to more than 15,000 children every year, through workplace and community based crèches and daycare centres.
MC pioneered the cause of ECD Partnerships and focuses on the young child under six years in urban slums and the migrant child, at construction site. MC’s multi-pronged approach- working with construction worker’s children, urban slum communities training and ECD partnership address both the short and long term needs of children. It is officially recognized as a technical resource by the government and is on the path by scaling up with government and other players in civil society.

Position Details :
Designation- Manager/Deputy Manager – ECD Partnerships (Delhi)
Level/ Band- 5
Geographical Location: New Delhi
Reporting to (Position): Thematic Lead-Childcare Services
Reported By: Senior Facilitator and Facilitators
Educational Qualifications- Post-Graduation preferably in social sciences, economics, or a similar discipline
Total work Experience in the relevant field- Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in the social development sector.
Job Description- Responsibilities included and not limited to –
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Planning – Collaborate with the National and State teams as well as other departments for project planning, timelines and division of responsibilities.
• Program Execution – Develop mechanisms and undertake regular monitoring to ensure execution on a regular basis and in line with the larger objectives of the
• organization.
• Budget and Resource Management.
• Documentation and Reporting.
• Team Management.
• Liaising with stakeholders including District and Panchayat level functionaries, parents, community members and others.
Desirable Competencies
• Passionately believe in the cause of the Right to ECD for all children.
• Excellent Hindi and English Communication Skills (Oral and Written).
• Leadership and Team Management.
• Open attitude to work with diverse range of people.
• Demonstrative knowledge of writing articles, reports, policy briefs.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Strategization and Analysis
Essential Requirements :
• Advocacy or community engagement experience
• Demonstrated report, proposal and document writing experience
• Proven ability to work in teams.
• Ability for strategic thinking, innovation, thinking across spectrums from community till national level.
