Job Description:
Now DESIRE Society is seeking for experienced developmental professionals for the position of Project Coordinator (PC Female) at its project location Malad (Mumbai) and Vashi (Navi Mumbai) in India.
Term of Employment: Full-time
Report to: Head Communications
Job Responsibilities for Project Coordinator (PC):
- To work with organization to develop project wise strategic plan, and carry out day-to-day running of all aspects of the home including; the standards and quality of care, communication with the team, the managing of the premises of the Care Home and financial matters, as well as a team player.
- Planning, organizing coordinating and controlling
- Ensure that the planning and implementation of the project is in accordance with the organizational mission, vision and values.
- To launch new initiatives, develop, design and facilitate workshops / experiential learning programs on HIV/AIDS at community levels, especially with young people and mentor them
- Participatory planning; and Community-based development;
- Monitoring and Evaluation, Impact Assessment, reporting;
- Capacity building and Institutional strengthening
- Internal and External Communications
- Team management with multicultural staff
- Networking and Partnership development with supporters and stakeholders [ including Child Welfare Committee ]
Education & Experience:
Post Graduate in MSW with social work experience of at least 2-5 years. Proficient with basic computer programs including MS Office. Good communication and facilitation skills in both regional and English languages. Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute independently. Ability to manage a team of social workers and supporting teams at assigned projects. Should be passionate in working for social cause with strong commitment for greater social impact.
Remuneration: Negotiable and depends on the candidate’s competence and experience levels.
