Our Mission - Transform Schools mission is Improving learning outcomes for secondary school children in India. Transform Schools encompasses of the following two affiliates:
- People For Action is a charitable society registered in India for delivering grants and CSRprojects through Foreign and local funds to improve learning outcomes for secondary-school children in India, through co-designed learning enhancement programmes & capacity strengthening of system actors.
- The Transform Trust is a registered trust in India for delivering payment for outcomes and consultancy contracts that aims to support the large-scale implementation of education programmes in collaboration with training institutes, communities, policymakers, implementers, researchers, and other government and non-government organisations.
Strategic Priorities
1. By 2030, we aim to commence work with 20M children thereby reaching and sustaining to impact 25% of children in elementary and secondary government schools in India. To achieve this, we prioritise core education outcomes and impacting life beyond schools for children in last five years of school i.e. ages 13?18 years, with a special focus on government schools, vulnerable groups and geographies. These include but are not limited to Girls, Dalits, Tribals and Aspirational districts. Our work is informed by SDG 4,5, & 10, global, national policy and evidence.

Learning Equaliser Programme
The Learning Equaliser Programme tackles the challenges of gender inequality and lack of support in educational environments, which hinder adolescents of all genders from exercising equal rights, choices, and voices leading to unrealized potential and limited life opportunities. Through gender-responsive learning and life skills inputs, and leveraging adolescent networks, we aim to create a supportive and equitable ecosystem. Our goal is to enhance learning outcomes, personal development, and overall well-being for all adolescents, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Job Purpose
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and implementation of the Learning Equaliser programme at the state and district level. Based in regional offices s/he/they will be the point of contact for internal as well as external stakeholders. S/he/they is responsible for providing operations support at the state and district level to ensure quality program implementation. The incumbent is required to work closely with field teams and will oversee planning, implementation, resource management, monitoring & evaluation,and timely and quality reporting.
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the overall quality and efficiency of operations. S/he/they will ensure programme implementation is moving in the right direction and towards achieving the stated outcomes and impact.

Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Implementation and Monitoring
- Lead the implementation of the programme plan for all the schools along with the Chief of Party CoP
- Preparation of a detailed log frame for the operations as a dashboard for the district wise programme implementation including timelines, milestones and indicators.
- Observation and assessment of learning delivery, training delivery and community engagement activities to input on gaps and enable improvement in quality of deliver on the ground
- Responsible for ensuring that the field teams are comprehensively briefed on the objective, expected output and overall implementation strategy of the programme
2. People and Team management
- Manage the team at the district level; hold regular team meetings to plan work and discuss progress and address problems with these team members.
- Regularly review and assess the performance of all schools, conduct supervision meetings and manage the periodic performance assessment process.
- Work with the HR team to develop a strong performance driven approach at all levels which is outcome / achievement based.
- Jointly manage the programme team?s performance with the Chief of Party and provide inputs for development of Key Performance Indicators ?KPIs? for the program team
3. Overall Operations Management and Reporting
- Set work plans and manage project's activities to achieve the project goals and draft weekly and monthly reports to be submitted to the Chief of Party and collaborate closely with the MERL team for monitoring and evaluation of activities.
- Lead the collation of operational MIS, ensure periodic reports are prepared and shared such as monthly progress report, quarterly progress report.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities and require a group of people to work together to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
- Preparation and documentation of Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual and other program and financial reports to align with the project design and donor requirements
- Monitor on monthly basis actual expenditures and compare them with the implementation model, budget requirements, review the budget with the Finance and programme team
4. Partnerships, Networking and Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain positive interactions with local government officials (to facilitate approvals, document processing, and understanding of proposed and pending changes in regulations/other operating strategies).
- Build and deepen relationships with schools and system actors through intensive engagement to ensure consistent participation, feedback and endorsement for the programme.
- Collaborate with DD Development to proactively identify potential partnerships with funders and donors, including deliberate pursuit entities that are focused on gender-responsive learning and life skills development in adolescents.
- Support the CoP in relationship building with government officials, departments, functions at state, district and block level to build a state centric scale strategy for the programme.
- Follow up on updates, review the strategy and improve the quality of relationship with external stakeholders in an efficient manner.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Master's preferred) in education, sociology, social sciences, or a related field
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience of programme and operations management
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a range of stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, donors and NGOs on issued-based advocacy initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines consistently.
- The job would require up to 50% of travel to the focus districts of the programme

- A passion for creative problem-solving and enthusiasm
- Experience in writing education resources/research papers including implementation, training, teaching and learning resources
