Department Overview
The CanKids Resource Mobilization Department is responsible for identifying, vetting, and acquiring the required resources for accomplishing organizational goals. The Dept. focuses on mobilizing funds, supporters, media attention, and partners, while continuously working on refining the current fundraising channels and activities to ensure long-term, flexible, and unrestricted resources for CanKids.
Key Responsibilities
1. CSR Fundraising Strategy
• Develop and execute annual CSR fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify and cultivate prospects from CSR-eligible companies and industry partners.
• Track market trends, CSR mandates, and donor preferences.
2. Proposal Development & Compliance
• Co-design project proposals with program teams for CSR alignment and impact.
• Ensure proposals meet CSR Act requirements, budgets, and thematic focus areas.
• Support MoU development and due diligence.
3. Donor Engagement & Stewardship
• Build and manage strong donor relationships through regular updates, site visits, and events.
• Lead CSR donor reporting: narrative and financial.
• Plan donor recognition campaigns and impact storytelling.
4. Internal Coordination
• Coordinate with Finance, Program, and M&E teams to align CSR reporting and execution.
• Maintain CRM/Donor database and ensure accurate data entry and analysis.
Other Extended Duties
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Department Head or Deputy General Manager.
Fund-Raising Sources to Focus On:
• Corporate CSR / PSU CSR / International donor agencies/ Other Multi-lateral institutions
• Schools and Colleges
• Associations, Foundations, and Trusts
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in managing donors and fundraising activities.
· Strong skills in budget management and proposal writing
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
· Proficiency with MS Excel, PPT, and Word
· Language proficiency requirement – English
Salary: Rs.40,000-Rs.50,000 per month
