Programme Manager – Arogya Project

About the Project
The Arogya Project, supported by BALCO CSR and implemented by the Social Revival Group of Urban Rural and Tribal (SROUT), focuses on improving community health and well-being in Korba, Chhattisgarh. The project adopts a multi-sectoral approach to strengthen primary healthcare systems and promote healthy living. Its key components include Primary Health Care, HIV/AIDS and TB Control, Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition, Anemia Prevention, and De-addiction. Through these interventions, Arogya aims to build healthier, more resilient communities and contribute to sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Design
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Conduct needs assessments and stakeholder consultations.
- Contribute to proposal writing and fundraising efforts with accurate design inputs.
Project Implementation and Coordination
- Oversee day-to-day project operations to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with field teams, technical experts, local partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to donor and organizational policies and procedures.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
- Establish and maintain robust M&E systems.
- Track project progress against indicators and log frames.
- Prepare and submit regular narrative and financial reports.
- Promote learning and adaptive management through data analysis.
Budget and Financial Management
- Develop and manage project budgets with the finance team.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Prepare forecasts and support audits.
Team and Stakeholder Management
- Supervise and mentor project staff and volunteers.
- Facilitate capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners.
- Build strong relationships with communities, government bodies, and stakeholders.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to child protection, safeguarding, and compliance policies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Masters of Public Health program (MPH)/ MSW,/MBA (Rural Management)or equivalent.
- Experience: More than 6-7 years of experience in managing district & state-level health and nutrition programs or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong leadership, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and MS Office proficiency.
- Language: Fluency in Hindi and English.
Compensation
Salary: Rs45,000 per month + TA
