About the Project
Nandghar is a flagship project initiated by the Vedanat Balco CSR in partnership with the Government of India ministry of Women and child development department and implemented by the Social Revival Group of Urban Rural and Tribal (SROUT) in CG. The project aims to transform the lives of children and their mothers approach to lifelong learning education, school readiness, emotional well-being, nurturing environments, individualized attention, socialization, skill building, community building to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn, create child friendly atmosphere at AWC & household level too and also improve health status of the child enrolled in Anganwadi centers. Presently SROUT working with 111 Nandghar centre in three district of Chhattisgarh state Kawardha, Raipur and Korba.
Job Purpose
Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple works and ensuring that they align with the strategic goals of the organization and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- To investigate the overall implementation of the projects.
- Prepare monthly/ quarterly and annual work plans of the project.
- Ensure capacity building of the project staff.
- Coordinate with the key stakeholders for necessary support.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with support of M&E manager and ensure its timely submission.
- Undertake field visits to guide the team
- To coordinate with donors for necessary compliances.
- Organise monthly, quarterly, and annual programs reviews.
- To work with the Accounts for transparency in utilization of funds,
- To monitor the performance of the project team members and take appropriate measures for improving the level of performance of the project staff.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MSW/ MBA (Rural development)/ Master in Public Health program (MPH) or equivalent.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in managing similar position in district or state level, having experience on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)/ Early Childhood Development (ECD) / Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition is Preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and MS Office proficiency.
- Language: Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Other: Willingness to travel extensively.
Compensation
Salary: Rs 45,000 per month +TA
