1 Brief of Role :A Program Officer - Production plays a critical role in managing and streamlining the production processes of the multiple craft clusters in the region. The person act as a bridge between artisans, supervisors, designers, and management, ensuring that production targets are met without compromising quality. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining product catalogs to effectively showcase craft products to clients and markets.

Brief Job Description
1. Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop production plans based on orders and client requirements. Ensure timelines are adhered to, from raw material procurement to final delivery. Coordinate with artisans and production teams to allocate work effectively.
2. Raw Material Management: Oversee artisans procurement and inventory management of yarns, dyes, and other materials. Ensure the availability of quality materials in the right quantity for uninterrupted production.
3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure finished products meet design specifications and industry standards. Train artisans on maintaining quality throughout the production process.
4. Artisan Coordination: Build relationships with artisans and weavers to motivate and guide them. Address concerns or challenges faced by artisans during production.
5. Monitoring & Reporting: Track production progress and resolve delays or bottlenecks. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
6. Catalog Creation & Management: Collaborate with designers and artisans to professionally document and catalog new products, ensuring all necessary details are captured for effective marketing. Develop and maintain a digital and physical catalog for use in marketing, sales, and client presentations. Regularly update the catalog to include new collections and remove discontinued products.
7. Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and clients to understand and implement product specifications. Coordinate with dyeing, weaving, and finishing teams to ensure consistency in production.
8. Cost Management: Optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce costs. Work on product costing with end-to-end processes to arrive the price of the product efficiently without compromising on quality or deadlines.
9. Training & Skill Development: Identify skill gaps among artisans and organize training programs. Promote innovation in traditional techniques to improve productivity. Advocate for eco-friendly and sustainable production practices.
10. Perform other duties as required to align with organizational priorities or donor requirements.

· Ensure timely completion of production orders and adherence to delivery schedules.
· Timely creation and updates of catalogs with accurate descriptions, high-quality visuals, and new product additions.
· High artisan retention rates, improved skills through training, and resolution of artisan-related issues.
· Elimination of defects in finished products and enhance customer satisfaction with product quality.
· Efficiency in product costs, and commercials.
· Adherence to labor laws, workplace safety standards, and implementation of sustainable production practices.
Skills & Competencies
· Craft Sector Expertise: Strong understanding of handloom production techniques and materials.
· Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
· Production Planning: Proficiency in using production planning tools and methods.
· Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Telugu.
· Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MIS, and data visualization tools.
· Networking: Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Experience & Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor's degree/diploma in Textile Technology, Handloom Technology, or a related field.
· Experience: 3–5 years of experience in handloom/textile production coordination or a similar role.
· Knowledge: Familiarity with traditional weaving techniques and handloom processes, design, and business development
