Job/Role Overview:
As a Field Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations across all thematics while
strengthening institutional relationships and partnerships at the field level. The role requires a highly motivated and
organized professional with strong project management and field execution capabilities, along with the ability to build and
manage stakeholder relationships effectively. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination
between internal teams, community stakeholders, institutional partners, donors, and vendors to drive program impact.
Institutional Liaison & Partnership Management:
- Act as the key liaison between the organization and institutional stakeholders, including government bodies,partner organisations, academic institutions, donors, and community-based institutions.
- Build, nurture, and manage strategic partnerships to strengthen program implementation and long-term institutional engagement.
- Represent the organization at field-level institutional meetings, forums, and coordination platforms.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication between internal teams and external partners to facilitate
smooth project implementation.
Team Leadership:
-Recruit, train, and supervise field staff, including CRPs
- Provide leadership and guidance to the field team, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen internal team collaboration across functions including all offices and HO to ensure alignment,
accountability, and effective program delivery.
- Support field teams in managing and resolving field-level conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and implementation of field projects and initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee their execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for field-based surveys, studies, assessments, and research initiatives, ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with community members to identify needs, priorities, and opportunities for intervention.
- Ensure that field activities are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and responsive to community feedback.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Develop data collection protocols and tools to measure project impact and outcomes.
- Coordinate data collection efforts in the field, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on field activities, progress, and achievements.
- Support documentation requirements for donor reporting, institutional updates, and partnership communication.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of program delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate field activities to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Logistics and Resource Management:
- Manage logistics and resources for field operations, including transportation, equipment, and supplies.
- Develop and manage budgets for field projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Procure necessary resources and services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Oversee vendor coordination at the field level, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and compliance with contractual terms.
HR &Organizational Support:
- Support the planning and execution of HR-related initiatives and employee engagement events at the field level,
in coordination with the HR team.
- Support in logistics, recruitment and coordination for field-based training programs, workshops, and capacity-
building initiatives.
Education - Master's in Social Work or Rural Development
Years of Experience - 5 to 18 years of relevant experience in project management, field operations, or rural development.(Ideal)
Industry Background - Rural Development or Social Sector
Technical Expertise - Project Management, Multilingual, Tech Savvy (MS Office, Rbase/, Data Management Platform)
