About Project:
This project supports DAY-NRLM’s transition from large-scale SHG mobilization to strong national and global market integration. With 10.05 crore women in 90.90 lakh SHGs and 1.48 crore Lakhpati Didis (June 2025), the mission is now poised to transform these platforms into high-growth, women-led enterprises. ACCESS Development Services will establish and implement a comprehensive national marketing strategy aimed at integrating SHG enterprises into formal mainstream markets. As a first step, ACCESS will undertake a comprehensive assessment of current market efforts—examining product volumes, value realization, channel performance, product quality, and branding and packaging standards. Building on this analysis and consultations with stakeholders (Government, private sector, academia etc), ACCESS will prepare a detailed national market strategy and action plan within the initial weeks. This roadmap will guide value chain prioritization, channel optimization, and branding and packaging upgrades to accelerate revenues and position SHG enterprises for competitive advantage and sustained growth.
Position Summary:
The candidate is a strategic individual contributor responsible for evaluating the long-term business purpose and using data to understand how project goals will be achieved. This role manages one of the most important levers of the organization by parsing, structuring, and presenting complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
The MIS Executive works closely with different departments to drive insights and strategic decisions. Core duties include:
Data Collection and Assimilation:
• Gathering raw data from various departments and internal/external sources.
• Cleaning and validating data, especially when it arrives in multiple, disparate formats.
• Putting the collected data into a unified, easy-to-read format.
Analysis and Reporting:
• Analysing the data based on the provided briefing, aligning findings with core business goals.
• Preparing comprehensive monthly reports on key business metrics (e.g., sales, inventory, market share, operations, etc.).
• Developing mini-dashboards for management based on specific, ad-hoc requirements.
Presentation and Communication:
• Presenting data and analysis to the management in the language they understand.
• Ability to swiftly distill large amounts of data and present it succinctly to top management.
• Clearly communicating the thought process and methodology behind the analysis.
Workflow and Quality Control:
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex spreadsheets prepared by other department members.
• Strong clarity of thought regarding the desired final output and format.
• Providing and meeting accurate timelines for data presentation.
Education & Experience:
• Masters degree in any field.
• OR A relevant certification and diploma in Statistical Analysis from a reputed institution.
• 5+ years of professional experience .
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel, proficient with advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts, and understanding/creating Macros.
• Data Handling: Strong proficiency in handling vast amounts of data and managing multiple data projects and tools.
• Visualisation Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Programming (A Plus): Knowledge of machine learning libraries like Pandas or similar data manipulation tools will be a significant advantage.
• Experience: Experience in live data projects lasting at least 2 years.
Communication and Presentation Skills
• Analytical and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to deduce and resolve data errors and discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Management: Must effectively understand and unpack briefing requirements given by different departments and key stakeholders.
• Executive Communication: Proven proficiency to clearly communicate complex numbers to top management in the exact manner requested.
• Pressure Management: Must think fast under pressure and provide accurate timelines.
Travel Requirement
Willingness to travel as required to implement the project efficiently.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is commensurate with industry standards and will be determined based upon the experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
