Position Summary:
The Program Support Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing back-office operations to ensure the successful execution of the Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) method. The Program Support Executive will provide MIS and accounting support, core local HR, and administrative support for ECC staff and consultants, ensuring smooth recruitment, on-boarding, records management, compliance, and coordination with HQ-HR. The role will serve as the single point of contact for routine finance, HR, and program support matters at the project location.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate local recruitment for junior positions, ensure approvals, documentation, and candidate communication are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate HR records and databases, support preparation of HR reports
• Track attendance and leave for ECC staff and consultants, and provide validated inputs for payroll and payments.
• Coordinate collection and submission of local bills, invoices, and timesheets.
• Support local administrative and finance-related tasks and audits.
Education & Experience:
• Graduation is mandatory. BBA, B.Com, Psychology, HR or a master’s degree in a similar field would be highly preferable.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Prior work experience in the social, development, or non-profit sector will be given preference.
Skills and Competencies:
• Community mobilization and networking skills
• Support in team coordination and day-to-day office operations.
• Understanding of HR and administrative processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfortable with occasional travel for office or field-related activities.
• Proficiency in computers, including MS Word, Excel, and internet applications.
• Assist in maintaining employee records, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.
Language Proficiency:
• Proficient in the local language (Telugu or Odia) and able to read, write, and understand English, with a basic working knowledge of Hindi.
Travel Requirement:
• Willingness to travel within the allotted project sub-clusters, if and when required only, to support efficient project implementation.
Compensation:
The salary range in this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon the experiences and fixed as per the HR policies of the organization.
