The Centre for microFinance (CmF), established in 2007, is a key organization working to improve the lives of rural communities in Rajasthan. Established as a state-level resource organization to catalyze the growth of the community-led microfinance sector in Rajasthan. The organization is committed to empowering grassroots institutions, enhancing capacities, and promoting evidence-based practices to tackle the multifaceted challenges faced by marginalized rural communities. Over the past 18 years, CmF has broadened its scope to encompass various initiatives, including livelihood enhancement, education, nutrition, water, and sanitation. Consistently striving to adapt and evolve, CmF remains attuned to the changing needs and aspirations of the communities while aligning its strategies with broader governmental policies and programs.
CmF in Livelihoods:
The Centre for microFinance is a premier development organization dedicated to improving the lives of rural communities—especially women—in Rajasthan. We achieve this by strengthening grassroots institutions (SHGs, VOs, CLFs, and FPCs), implementing sustainable livelihood interventions and promoting innovative and evidence-based solutions. Currently, our operations support over 65,000 households through climate-resilient agriculture and livestock practices, climate-smart technologies, community leadership development, market linkages and the promotion of producer groups and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with rural communities for the overall Implementation of Community Institutions, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Livestock interventions.
- Involve women farmers in the promotion of Farm and Non-farm-based livelihood enterprises, build their capacities for better management, and link them with FPC for market linkage.
- Community mobilization and regular interaction with SHGs/producer groups/water user groups to support their day-to-day operations
- Technical training and on field support to farmers/animal rearers etc.
- Liasoning with government programs and departments to leverage funds/converge efforts for livelihood promotion of small holder farmers and landless communities.

Candidate Eligibility
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Agriculture, Veterinary science, Dairy/Food technologies, Agribusiness Management, Rural Development or related field from reputed colleges/institutes.
- Experience of 1 – 3 years in NGOs or similar organizations
Essential Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with international development standards and frameworks.
- Willingness to live and work in a rural setting with basic amenities
- Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler (or be willing to buy one upon joining)
