## Position Overview

AVN Pragati Foundation is seeking a dynamic and motivated **Communication Officer** with expertise in communication, digital outreach, and program documentation. The role involves translating public health and development programs into clear and engaging communication materials for diverse audiences.

The candidate will work closely with the Chairman and program teams to strengthen the organization’s **communication, advocacy, and outreach initiatives**.

## Key Responsibilities

### Content Development & Documentation

* Develop reports, newsletters, briefs, IEC materials, and case studies.
* Translate technical public health information into simple communication messages.
* Document project activities, success stories, and impact stories.

### Digital Communication

* Manage organizational **social media platforms and website content**.
* Design and publish digital posts, awareness content, and short videos.
* Coordinate with media agencies for press releases and event coverage.

### Program Communication Support

* Support communication requirements across multiple projects.
* Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and designers.
* Track communication deliverables and deadlines.

### Advocacy & Event Communication

* Support communication for workshops, trainings, campaigns, and public events.
* Assist in developing advocacy materials and communication strategies.

### Monitoring & Reporting

* Track media coverage and social media engagement.
* Prepare communication reports for internal documentation and donor reporting.

## Required Qualifications

* Master’s Degree in **Public Health (MPH)** OR **Mass Communication / Journalism / related field**
* **2–5 years of relevant experience** in NGO / development sector communication roles
* Strong **writing, editing, and presentation skills**
* Experience in **digital communication and social media management**
* Proficiency in **MS Office and online communication tools**
* Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
