Project Coordinator
Pragati Path Foundation (PPF) is a feminist non-profit organization established in 2011 in Varanasi. The Foundation works to promote women’s identity, dignity, and rights by supporting their social and economic development. To further strengthen its mission and expand its impact, Pragati Path Foundation is inviting applications from committed and passionate candidates for various positions.

Name of Position: Project Coordinator-1 (Female/Male)
Location: Varanasi (U. P.)
Age: 25 to 30
Remuneration & TA: Rs. 22,000/ month+ TA 1,000/month

Qualification Requirements
• Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Development Studies, Management, or related discipline.
OR
• Graduate in any relevant discipline with substantial field experience in livelihood or artisan-based programmes.

Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, livelihood promotion, artisan development, or rural development programmes.
• Experience working with women artisans, SHGs, producer groups, or traditional craft clusters will be preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Required
• Strong understanding of livelihood promotion, traditional crafts, and women’s empowerment.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and basic data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural and semi-urban areas.
• Must own a two-wheeler/vehicle with valid driving license for field visits.
• Commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting sustainable artisan livelihoods.

Summary of Key Functions – Project Coordinator
• Lead and coordinate the overall implementation of the project at field level.
• Develop and execute monthly and quarterly action plans for effective project delivery.
• Supervise Field Mobilizers and provide regular guidance and monitoring support.
• Liaise with Government Departments, local authorities, and other stakeholders for convergence and support.
• Facilitate skill development trainings, design development initiatives, and market linkage activities for women artisans.
• Monitor project progress, ensure achievement of targets, and address implementation challenges.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, documentation, and case studies.
• Ensure proper utilization of resources as per approved project plan and budget.
• Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and coordination forums.
