Field Mobilizer
Pragati Path Foundation (PPF) is a feminist non-profit organization established in 2011 in Varanasi. The Foundation works to promote women’s identity, dignity, and rights by supporting their social and economic development. To further strengthen its mission and expand its impact, Pragati Path Foundation is inviting applications from committed and passionate candidates for various positions.

Name of Position: Field Mobilizer-03 (Female/Male)
Location: Varanasi (U. P.)
Age: 20 to 30
Remuneration & TA: Rs. 12,000/ month+ TA 1250/month

Qualification Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (preferably Social Sciences, Rural Development, Women Studies, or related field).

Experience
• 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, women’s groups, SHGs, livelihood programmes, or artisan development initiatives.
• Experience working with women artisans, craft clusters, or traditional skill-based communities will be preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of women empowerment, traditional crafts, and rural livelihoods.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Basic knowledge of documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with local culture and community dynamics.
• Willingness to travel extensively in field areas.
• Must own a two-wheeler/vehicle with valid driving license for field visits.
• Commitment to promoting women’s dignity, self-reliance, and cultural preservation.

Role and Responsibilities / Summary of Key Functions
• Mobilize and organize women artisans at the village/community level.
• Conduct regular field visits to identify potential beneficiaries and support group formation.
• Facilitate capacity-building meetings, awareness sessions, and training programmes.
• Support revival and promotion of traditional crafts and cultural heritage activities.
• Coordinate with local stakeholders, SHGs, and community leaders.
• Maintain regular field records, attendance registers, and activity reports.
• Assist in market linkage activities and participation in exhibitions/fairs.
• Ensure effective communication between community members and the project team.
