Assistant Accountant
Pragati Path Foundation (PPF) is a feminist non-profit organization established in 2011 in Varanasi. The Foundation works to promote women’s identity, dignity, and rights by supporting their social and economic development. To further strengthen its mission and expand its impact, Pragati Path Foundation is inviting applications from committed and passionate candidates for various positions.

Name of Position: Assistant Accountant-1 (Female/Male)
Location: Varanasi (U. P.)
Age: 20 to 25
Remuneration & TA: Rs. 10,000/ month

Qualification Requirements: Graduate in Commerce (B. Com) or related discipline.

Experience
• Fresher candidates may apply.
• Internship or practical training in accounts, data entry, or office administration will be an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills Required
• Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Good typing speed and accuracy in data entry.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping, GST, and TDS.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in coordination with the accounts and programme team.

Role and Responsibilities / Summary of Key Functions
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Basic knowledge of Tally or other accounting software preferred.
• Good typing speed and data entry accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under supervision.
• Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
