About the Project
MAMTA is implementing a project aimed at empowering communities and strengthening local health systems in Khandwa and Khargone districts, Madhya Pradesh, focusing on Tuberculosis (TB) and Vector-Borne Disease (VBD) control. The project will cover approximately 100 villages across six blocks, promoting sustainable health behaviors, early disease detection, and treatment adherence.
MAMTA-HIMC invites applications for the position of Cluster Coordinator, based at the district headquarters, to lead the implementation, monitoring, and coordination of project activities in each district.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for:
Programme Implementation :
• Cluster coordinator will be responsible for line listing in the selected 100 villages of Khargone and Khandwa
• He/She will be responsible for collecting baseline and endline survey data to understand knowledge and attitude of the communities regarding TB and VBD
• Will be responsible for organising the PLA meeting at the village level
• Establish rapport with TU level NTEP officials and Block Officials
• He/She will be responsible in identifying the positive deviant family in every village based on the checklist
• He/She will be responsible in formation of community groups for the community level sessions and mobilise them for attending education session,
• Will organise the culturally appropriate campaigns at the village level on TB and VBD
• Will be responsible for identifying the vulnerable families for bed net distribution
• Regular travel to all the designated villages
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on project updates
• Maintain the project MIS for the beneficiaries and events covered under project
• Monitor field activities as and when required
• Any other responsibilities assigned related to the project by the District and Block Coordinator
Qualifications and skills:
• Graduate in any stream with at least 1-2 years of experience of implementing health related programs at the village level
• Knows Hindi language
• Familiarity with health system structures, reporting tools, and digital monitoring systems.
• Past experience of working with tribal communities
Other Requirements:
• Having android phone and Two-wheeler is must
• Willingness to be positioned at block headquarters and frequent travel to project selected villages and to district headquarters for trainings and meetings
