Manager - Monitoring & Documentation

DMI Global Mission is the socio-pastoral development unit of the Society of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate Congregation. DMI Global Mission supports development and humanitarian programs in five African missions - South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and the Central African Republic, working with vulnerable communities through mission-centred, rights-based, and community-led approaches.

DMI Global Mission invites applications for the position of Manager – Monitoring & Documentation to strengthen monitoring systems, donor reporting, proposal development, and impact documentation across its African mission programs.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, for the initial period, and based on the performance will be placed in one of the Mission Countries
Contract: Two-year contract, renewable based on funding availability
Reporting to: Country Director

Key Responsibilities
• Develop monitoring plans based on the DMI M&E system design and project requirements
• Develop and implement M&E plans and reporting systems
• Ensure quality data collection, verification, analysis, and indicator tracking
• Maintain MIS tools and project registers and records
• Conduct field monitoring visits and support baseline, midline, and endline evaluations
• Lead, compile, and finalize donor reports before submission to the Global Mission team
• Design draft project proposals, obtain technical guidance, and support finalization of proposals
• Document success stories, photos, videos, and impact evidence
• Train staff and community groups on M&E and documentation tools
• Support evidence-based planning and resource mobilization tracking

Qualifications & Skills
• Degree in MSW
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mission-focused development or humanitarian work
• Strong commitment to values-driven and faith-inspired development practice
• Proven ability to work and manage effectively in difficult, fragile, or resource-constrained contexts
• Strong skills in M&E systems, data management, documentation, donor reporting, and proposal development
• Excellent writing, communication, and capacity-building skills
• Willingness to travel extensively to field locations
