About the Role
The Officer – Communication and Resource Mobilisation will play a strategic role in enhancing the visibility, partnerships, and fundraising efforts of DMI Global Mission. The position requires strong communication expertise, experience in grant writing, and the ability to mobilize resources to support program growth and sustainability across mission areas.

The ideal candidate should be dynamic, result-oriented, and capable of independently planning and executing communication and resource mobilisation strategies that contribute to the expansion and impact of DMI’s development and humanitarian initiatives..

Key Responsibilities
Communication & Visibility: -
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for DMI Global Mission
- Prepare high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, donor reports, newsletters, brochures, and impact stories
- Document success stories, case studies, and best practices from mission areas
- Strengthen digital presence (website content, social media platforms, and donor communication materials)
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely and accurate program documentation

Resource Mobilisation: -
- Identify and build partnerships with various organizations, foundations, and networks
- Develop and submit project concepts and funding proposals aligned with donor priorities
- Maintain strong donor relationships and ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements

Coordination & Quality Support: -
- Facilitate effective communication between mission teams and management
- Support program teams in preparing high-quality impact stories, videos, and photographs, and ensure timely submission for publication
- Contribute to maintaining consistency and quality in organizational communications

Qualifications & Skills: -
- Master’s Degree in MSW / Development Studies / Communications / Social Sciences
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in communication, Content writing, Reporting, and fundraising partnerships
- Experience in proposal writing and donor reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory; Tamil desirable)
- Strong networking, organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidates: Female with MSW and relevant experience.

Package: Salary will be discussed during the interview and will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
