Role Summary
We are looking for a high-ownership Senior Associate who will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening the DET Academy system for SkillPlus—from curriculum and assessments to trainer capability and academic quality.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of academic design, strong execution, and continuous improvement, and wants to build scalable learning systems that translate into career outcomes for rural youth.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Learning Design
Develop and refine industry-aligned, outcome-based curriculum (competency maps, session plans, activity banks, rubrics, and learning resources) across foundation skills - English & communication, Reasoning and Aptitude, Digital Skills
Ensure curriculum is optimized for high practice time, learner engagement, and measurable skill progression.
Assessment System & Standards
Design and standardize student assessment frameworks (diagnostic, formative, summative), including rubrics, evaluation guidelines, and score interpretation.
Drive consistency and reliability in assessments across trainers, batches, and centers.

Academic Quality & Execution Collaboration
Work closely with the execution/operations team to ensure smooth academic delivery through the full program cycle (launch ? run ? review ? improve).
Identify bottlenecks in delivery and implement practical process improvements.
Reporting, Insights & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare and present academic reports, dashboards, and insights for internal reviews and external stakeholders.
Work with academics and technology teams to support content digitization, LMS processes, assessment workflows, and program scalability.

Sound understanding of instructional design fundamentals, including Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning principles (andragogy), and practice-led learning models—able to translate theory into outcome-focused deliverables.
Strong planning, coordination, and execution capability with close attention to detail.
Solid project management skills—structured, timely, and dependable delivery.
Ability to conduct qualitative research (trainer feedback, learner insights) and convert it into actionable improvements.
Strong problem-solving mindset; comfortable working in evolving environments.
Excellent written and spoken English communication.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Office (clear documentation, crisp presentations).
A self-starter who works well with diverse teams and varied educational backgrounds.

Education & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed institute.
Experience in NGOs / development sector is an advantage.
Experience in EdTech/education program design is an advantage.
