About Butterflies:
Butterflies is registered organization working with children in streets and vulnerable situations, out of school children in Delhi, Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand). It supports children in education and life skills education so that they become educated, self-reliant and break the intergenerational poverty and illiteracy.
Butterflies is looking for a candidate for the post of Programme officers (Education & Life Skills Education Programme) based in Delhi.
Job Descriptions:
- Conduct outreach in communities to identify out-of-school children and adolescents in need of academic support and develop their profiles.
- Facilitate education support classes and Life Skills sessions using participatory and child-friendly approaches.
- Implement programme activities in alignment with defined goals, objectives, and expected outcomes while tracking milestones.
- Organize workshops, training sessions, exposure visits, and other engagement activities for children and adolescents.
- Conduct meetings and sessions with families as part of family strengthening initiatives.
- Document case studies, stories of change, and prepare analytical programme reports for submission to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records, attendance, and progress documentation.
Experience and Qualification:
The candidate should have master’s degree in Social Work/Social Science or Education and should have at least 3 years of working experience with children. S/he should have good knowledge about life skills education. Please note that application which do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.
Appointment:
This will be a contractual appointment initially for a probation period of 6 months and thereafter for a year based the performance appraisal. The Contact may be renewed every year depending upon the availability of the funds.
Remuneration:
Monthly remuneration of Rupees 25000 to 30000 according to the experience, qualification, and competency of the candidate.
