1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
Prepare annual and project-specific budgets in coordination with program leads.

Monitor budget utilization and provide monthly variance analysis.

Support strategic planning with financial forecasts and analysis.

2. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable standards (e.g., Indian GAAP, FCRA).

Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure timely entry of all financial transactions in accounting software Tally ERP.

3. Financial Reporting
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Support donor financial reporting as per grant agreements.

Assist in preparing financial statements and MIS for the Board and Management.

4. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Income Tax, FCRA, GST, PF/ESIC, and other applicable laws.

Coordinate statutory, internal, donor, and government audits.

Prepare documents and respond to audit queries and recommendations.

5. Grant & Donor Management
Track donor funds and ensure proper utilization and reporting.

Maintain grant-wise accounts and support proposal budgeting and final utilization certificates.

Liaise with donors for financial due diligence and compliance.

6. Risk Management & Controls
Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.

Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Support anti-fraud, whistleblower, and procurement policy adherence.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field;

At least 2 years of progressive experience in financial management, with 2+ years in the non-profit sector.

Strong knowledge of FCRA, Income Tax, and other Indian compliance frameworks for NGOs.

Proficiency in financial software Tally ERP and MS Excel (advance level).

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in English languages.
Excelent performance in Advance Excel

High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Desirable:
Experience working with international donors.

Knowledge of financial aspects of CSR-funded projects.

Experience in multi-project grant management
