Organizational Development (OD) Manager

SwaTaleem Foundation is an India and US registered civil society organization that works towards creating a gender equal world through education in partnership with government systems. Its emphasis is on enhancing long-term educational and life outcomes of Girls through a community-centric approach backed by evidence-based pedagogy. It engages with Girls, teachers, schools, government officials and parents.

Due to the nature of our work, this role is only for female candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The OD Manager is responsible for strengthening organizational culture, building effective systems, and creating supportive structures that enable teams across states to work with alignment, clarity, and confidence. This role focuses on strengthening organizational health through systems design, culture-building, leadership development, and continuous improvement.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Building and nurturing an inclusive, values-driven culture across teams and states.
Designing and facilitating spaces for connection, reflection, celebration, and alignment.
Streamlining org-wide processes, ensuring clarity and consistency across states. Ensuring smoother onboarding, induction, and exit.
Supporting new managers in developing their leadership and people-management skills.
Strengthening leadership rhythms (check-ins, reviews, goal-setting, and feedback loop).
Conduct skip-level meetings to gather insights on best practices and emerging concerns.
Identifying gaps in clarity and creating practical, sustainable systems to improve collaboration.
Mediating conflicts and supporting constructive resolutions.
Tracking organizational health indicators and using insights to guide OD priorities, interventions and long-term strengthening.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in social impact and development.
One year of experience in OD, HR, People Operations, or related fields is preferred.
Strong understanding of culture-building, adult learning, and team dynamics.
Experience with facilitation, designing capacity-building programmes and experiential learning is an added advantage.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Believes in collaboration and co-creation with a larger strategy in focus.
Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in building & managing relationships.
Self-driven and believes in the process of improving oneself through constant reflection and feedback.
Should be comfortable to travel for fieldwork as well as for quarterly workshops.

Language Proficiency: English and Hindi

Location:Delhi

CTC: INR 50,000-60,000 per month, based on experience and relevant skills.
