The organization works on social development initiatives aimed at providing protection, care, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for women who have faced exploitation and social exclusion.
Position Overview:
Vidyaranya NGO is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head – Resource Mobilization to lead the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. The role requires a professional with strong experience in the development sector who can build strategic partnerships with corporates, CSR departments, foundations, and individual donors.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy with an annual target of ?4–5 crore through CSR partnerships, grants, institutional funding, and philanthropic networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the organization’s resource mobilization strategy to achieve annual fundraising targets.
• Identify and secure funding from corporate CSR programs, foundations, grant-making institutions, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with corporate CSR teams and donor organizations.
• Prepare high-quality concept notes, funding proposals, grant applications, and presentations.
• Lead negotiations and partnership discussions with potential donors.
• Manage donor reporting, fund utilization reports, and impact documentation.
• Work closely with program teams to align project proposals with donor priorities.
• Develop innovative fundraising initiatives including events, campaigns, and digital fundraising strategies.
• Represent the organization in donor meetings, conferences, and networking forums.
Experience & Qualifications:
• 4–6 years of experience in resource mobilization, CSR partnerships, or fundraising in reputed NGOs or development sector organizations.
• Proven track record in raising funds from corporates, CSR initiatives, or institutional donors.
• Strong skills in proposal writing, donor communication, and partnership management.
• Excellent networking, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Management, or related field preferred.
Performance Expectations:
• Lead fundraising initiatives to mobilize Rs.4–5 crore annually for organizational programs.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate and institutional donors.
• Strengthen the organization’s visibility and credibility with funding partners.
