Manager – Monitoring & Evaluation

Qualification: Ph.D. or master’s in social work / Population Science / Demography / Public Health
Experience & Skills:
Five to seven years of progressive experience in monitoring & evaluation, research, and program performance management.
Key core competencies required:
- Demonstrated experience managing M&E components in multi-country or consortium projects.
- Experience in conducting, Needs assessments, program evaluations, Qualitative and quantitative studies
- Proficiency in digital data collection systems and data management platforms.
- Strong analytical skills using statistical software (SPSS, STATA, R or equivalent) and qualitative analysis tools.
- Excellent report writing skills, including donor reports, technical briefs, case studies, and peer-reviewed documentation.
- Creative and organized, able to multi-task, should be a good team player, conversant with analytical skills, qualitative and quantitative research and presentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for multi country projects with deliverables for each country. The position requires development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation strategies, frameworks, collating data, analysis. Development of tools that will ensure accurate and timely information and feedback to stakeholders, and for planning and conducting of data quality assurance and monitoring activities and reports.
- Develop and operationalize the consortium-wide M&E framework aligned with project objectives and donor requirements.
- Design comprehensive M&E plans, indicators, logical frameworks, and performance tracking tools.
- Ensure alignment of M&E systems with integrated SRH–HIV service delivery models
- Develop standardized tools and formats for data collection, reporting, and validation across Member Associations.
- Conduct field visits for routine data quality assessments (DQAs) and supportive supervision processes at the implementing sites.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting from all consortium partners.
- Strengthen digitalized data systems and dashboards for real-time monitoring.
- Support the Programme team in reviewing performance gaps and recommending course corrections.
- Prepare periodic donor reports, technical updates, and consortium summaries.
- Develop analytical reports highlighting trends in PrEP uptake, retention, and integration within SRH services.
- Document lessons learned to inform scale-up and sustainability strategies.
