Job Summary

The Community Mobilizer will work closely with local communities to promote the programs and initiatives of Common Man Trust. The role involves building relationships with community members, encouraging participation in development programs, and supporting awareness activities that improve social, economic, and educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with community members, leaders, and local groups.

Conduct community meetings, awareness sessions, and mobilization activities.

Encourage community participation in projects and initiatives.

2. Program Implementation

Support the implementation of field-level programs and activities.

Assist in organizing workshops, campaigns, and training sessions.

Ensure community members understand the benefits and objectives of programs.

3. Awareness & Outreach

Conduct door-to-door visits and group discussions.

Spread awareness about social issues such as education, health, livelihood, and government schemes.

Mobilize beneficiaries to participate in activities and services.

4. Data Collection & Reporting

Collect field data, feedback, and beneficiary information.

Maintain records of meetings, attendance, and program outcomes.

Submit regular field reports to the project coordinator or manager.

5. Coordination

Coordinate with local stakeholders such as community leaders, schools, self-help groups, and government departments.

Support team members during field visits and events.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, or related field preferred.

Prior experience in community work, NGO sector, or social development programs is an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in rural/urban communities and travel locally.
