**Location:** Remote / Hybrid with occasional visits to Madhya Pradesh and meetings in major cities if required

**Organization:** 27-year-old K–12 educational institution in rural Madhya Pradesh

**About the Initiative**
Our institution is planning to establish a **Girls’ Industrial Training Institute (ITI) / Polytechnic** to provide industry-relevant vocational and technical training for young women from rural and economically disadvantaged communities. The objective is to create sustainable pathways to employment and economic empowerment through quality skill development. To support this initiative, we seek an experienced consultant who can help mobilize long-term funding and build strategic partnerships with national and international stakeholders.

**Role Objective**
The consultant will design and implement a fundraising and partnership strategy to secure funding for the development and long-term sustainability of the proposed institution. The role will involve identifying opportunities across CSR programs, philanthropic foundations, international development agencies, and government-supported skill development initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop a strategic fundraising roadmap for establishing the Girls’ ITI / Polytechnic.
* Identify potential funding partners among Indian CSR and philanthropic organizations such as **Tata Trusts** and **Azim Premji Foundation**.
* Explore institutional and development funding opportunities with international agencies including the **World Bank**, **Asian Development Bank**, and **UNICEF**.
* Prepare concept notes, grant proposals, CSR proposals, and partnership presentations.
* Support engagement with relevant government bodies such as the **Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship** and the **National Skill Development Corporation**.
* Facilitate introductions and meetings with corporate CSR teams, foundations, and development partners.

**Desired Profile**

* Demonstrated experience in CSR fundraising, institutional grants, or development sector partnerships.
* Proven ability to mobilize significant funding for education or skill development initiatives.
* Strong proposal writing, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement skills.

**Compensation**
This is a **project-based consulting role** with compensation structured through mutually agreed **milestone payments or success-based fees linked to funds mobilized**.
