Project Lead
Position: Project Lead SATHEE
Location: Delhi NCR/ Kanpur
Program: SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams) – An initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented by IIT Kanpur

Role Overview
The Project Lead will oversee the effective implementation and management of SATHEE program & SATHEE Kendras PAN India. The role involves coordinating SATHEE Mitras, ensuring smooth academic and administrative operations, monitoring student engagement and performance, and acting as a liaison between the Kendra and the central project team. The Lead will play a key leadership role in strengthening access to quality competitive exam preparation for students, particularly from underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Supervision
1. Supervise and guide SATHEE Mitras in daily academic and operational activities.
2. Ensure smooth functioning of the SATHEE Kendra(s) PAN India.
3. Monitor implementation of academic plans, mentoring sessions, and digital learning schedules.
4. Conduct regular review meetings with SATHEE Mitras to assess progress and challenges.
Academic Oversight
5. Oversee mentoring support for students preparing for JEE, NEET, CUET, and other competitive examinations.
6. Ensure effective utilization of the SATHEE portal, online lectures, practice tests, and digital resources.
7. Analyze student performance data and suggest corrective or remedial measures.
8. Facilitate orientation sessions, motivational talks, and academic workshops.
Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
9. Track student enrollment, attendance, and performance across Kendras.
10. Encourage student footfall in various SATHEE Kendras
11. Encourage Enrolment on SATHEE Portal
12. Maintain consolidated reports, progress dashboards, and documentation as required by IIT Kanpur / Ministry of Education.
13. Submit periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to the central project team.
14. Provide actionable feedback to enhance program effectiveness.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
13. Coordinate with schools, parents, district officials, and community stakeholders to promote SATHEE initiatives.
14. Support outreach and awareness drives to increase student registration on the SATHEE portal.
15. Address operational issues and escalate concerns to the project leadership when necessary.
Infrastructure & Compliance
16. Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of infrastructure, digital devices, and learning resources.
17. Monitor adherence to project guidelines, academic standards, and administrative protocols.

Required Skills & Competencies
• Must have worked in social sector/ development sector.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
• Sound academic background in Science/Mathematics (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics).
• Data monitoring and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in digital platforms and online learning systems.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capability.

Educational Qualification (Preferred)
• Postgraduate in Social Works/ Science, Engineering, Education, or related discipline. Candidates having no MSW need not to apply.
• Prior experience in academic coordination, project management, or competitive exam mentoring is desirable.
• Experience working in education outreach programs will be an added advantage.

Nature of Engagement
• Contractual (Project-based).
• Transferable within the State or PAN India as per project requirement.
