Location: Panchla, Howrah (Field area). Candidates may occasionally be required to visit the Sanchar Head Office in Kolkata or other project locations depending on programme needs.

About the Organisation
SANCHAR A.R.O.D. (Society for Appropriate Rehabilitation of the Disabled) is a Kolkata-based non-profit organisation working since 1988 to promote the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities. Through community-based rehabilitation, inclusive education, livelihood programmes, and capacity building initiatives, SANCHAR works with children, youth, families, and communities across West Bengal to create an inclusive society where persons with disabilities can live with dignity and equal opportunities.

Position Summary
SANCHAR is looking for a committed Field Staff member to support community-based programmes in Panchla, Howrah.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the project team in organising community awareness programmes and meetings.

Assist in community mobilisation and outreach activities with families and local stakeholders.

Support senior therapists and programme staff in conducting home-based CBR interventions for children and persons with disabilities.

Assist in identification and follow-up of children/persons with disabilities in the community.

Maintain basic field documentation and activity records.

Coordinate with community members, caregivers, and local institutions as required.

Required Qualifications:
Background in Social Sciences, Social Work, Rehabilitation Studies, or related fields preferred.

Candidates with relevant community work experience will be given preference.

Salary ?15,000 – ?17,000 per month (negotiable, depending on qualification).
