Community Aid and Sponsorship Programme- Delhi Unit is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality education to underprivileged children through community-based learning centers. Our mission is to create inclusive learning spaces that empower children with knowledge, skills, and confidence to build a better future.
Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join our team and facilitate learning for students from Class 1 to Class 8. The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about teaching, skilled in child-centered pedagogy, and committed to working in low-resource communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct subject-wise classes for students from Class 1 to 8 as per the curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Engage students through interactive and inclusive teaching methods.
• Identify and support students requiring additional academic assistance.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and center coordinators to ensure holistic development.
• Participate in teacher training, review meetings, and community engagement activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Graduate in any discipline (preferably with a background in Education or Social Work).
• B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in NGO or low-income school settings.
• Proficiency in Hindi (and English for upper primary levels).
• Basic computer literacy will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with children from underserved backgrounds.
• Adaptability, patience, and a learner-centric approach.
Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per organizational norms.
