Role:
The Manager – Operations, Partnerships & Communications is responsible for strengthening organizational operations, managing strategic partnerships, and supporting organizational communications. This role integrates internal operational efficiency, external relationship management, and communication coordination to ensure sustainable growth, strong visibility, funding support, and high-quality program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Communications Management
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of programs and support functions.
• Develop, implement, and streamline standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments.
• Coordinate with program teams, volunteers to ensure timely execution, compliance, and reporting.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, vendor coordination, and basic financial controls in collaboration with the finance team.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, statutory compliances, and donor/CSR guidelines.
• Maintain documentation, databases, and operational dashboards for internal review and audits.
• Coordinate with the communications team (or handle directly, where required) to ensure timely content, updates, and reporting for donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support preparation of newsletters, annual reports, case studies, presentations, and organizational communication material.
• Ensure alignment between on-ground program activities and external communication, branding, and visibility.
Partnerships:
• Identify, approach, and cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporates, and CSR heads.
• Develop partnership proposals, concept notes, budgets, and presentations aligned with donor and CSR priorities.
• Manage end-to-end CSR partnerships, including onboarding, MoUs, program planning, execution coordination, and closure.
• Act as the primary point of contact for donors and CSR partners, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
• Support fundraising initiatives, donor campaigns, and employee volunteering engagements with corporate partners.
• Track partnership pipelines, commitments, renewals, and funding timelines.
Program Coordination & Reporting Program Coordination & Reporting:
• Work closely with program teams to translate partnership commitments into actionable plans.
• Ensure donor and CSR requirements related to branding, visibility, monitoring, and evaluation are met.
• Coordinate impact measurement, data collection, and preparation of donor reports, utilization certificates, and case studies.
• Facilitate donor visits, field immersions, reviews, and impact presentations.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
• Represent the organization in meetings with corporates, donors, networks, and external stakeholders.
• Support long-term relationship building to convert one-time donors into sustained partners.
• Ensure professional, transparent, and ethical engagement with all stakeholders.
• Build strong internal coordination between programs, finance, communications, and leadership teams.
Strategy & Growth Support:
• Contribute to organizational strategy related to partnerships, communications, funding diversification, and operational scale-up.
• Identify new opportunities for collaborations, grants, and multi-year partnerships.
• Support leadership with research on CSR trends, donor interests, and sector best practices.
• Assist in planning annual operational, communication, and partnership targets.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, Public Policy, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in NGO operations, partnerships, communications, fundraising, or CSR engagement.
• Proven experience working with corporates, CSR teams, donors, or foundations.
• Strong understanding of NGO compliance, donor reporting, communications, and program implementation.
Skills:
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare proposals, budgets, donor reports, and communication material.
• High level of organizational and coordination skills.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM and digital communication tools is an advantage.
