Role Overview
The City Road Safety Training Coordinator will lead the execution of classroom-based road safety and defensive driving training programs within the assigned city. The coordinator will recruit, train, and manage a network of volunteer trainers who will deliver sessions for truck drivers, cab drivers, and school students.
The role is responsible for achieving training coverage targets while ensuring consistent training quality and compliance with road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Trainer Network Development:
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a network of volunteer trainers within the city
• Ensure trainers are oriented on the approved training curriculum and delivery standards
Training Program Execution:
• Plan and coordinate classroom-based training programs for:
o Truck and commercial vehicle drivers
o Cab and fleet drivers
o School students
• Coordinate with fleet operators, institutions, and schools for scheduling sessions
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all training sessions follow the approved curriculum and road safety messaging
• Conduct periodic observation of training sessions to maintain quality standards
• Ensure correct communication of traffic rules under the Motor Vehicles Act
Monitoring & Reporting:
• Track sessions conducted, participants trained, and trainer performance
• Maintain attendance records, feedback scores, and session documentation
• Submit periodic training reports to the central program team
Trainer Performance Management:
• Monitor volunteer trainer performance and engagement
• Maintain a reliable trainer pool and replace inactive trainers where required

Eligibility:
Education:
Graduate preferred:
Experience:
3–6 years experience in training programs, road safety initiatives, driver engagement, or community outreach.
Preferred Certifications:
• Defensive Driving Trainer Certification
• Road Safety Trainer Certification
• Training-of-Trainers (ToT)

• Strong coordination and program management ability
• Ability to mobilize institutions, fleets, and schools for training programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple training schedules simultaneously

Compensation:
Fixed Salary: upto Rs.35000 per month depending upon experience.
Performance Incentive: Up to ?10,000 per month linked to:
• Number of training sessions conducted by the trainer network
• Number of participants trained
• Training quality feedback
• Timely reporting and documentation

Other Requirements:
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to travel within the assigned city
• Ability to work with diverse participant groups including drivers and school students
